Steph&Jonny

are getting married, and we'd love you to spend the whole day with us

Saturday June192027 at 1pm

Woodthorpe Hall
Holmesfield, Derbyshire

Saturday 19 June 2027

How the day will go

Everything happens in the gardens at Woodthorpe Hall. Times are a rough guide.

  1. Arrive and find a seat

Park up, say hello and grab a spot in the garden.

  2. The ceremony

The bit where we say yes.

  3. Drinks and photos

A drink in hand while we grab a few pictures.

  4. Afternoon tea

Followed by a few words from the two of us. We promise to keep it short.

  5. Lawn games and drinks

Croquet, giant Jenga and a sunny afternoon, fingers crossed.

  6. Evening guests arrive

    More friends join the party.

  7. Pizza

Fresh from the pizza truck, with a second round later on.

  8. The band

Two sets, so save some energy.

  9. Last songs and goodbyes

We'll slow things down and take time to see everyone before the night ends.

  10. Carriages

Taxis home, or a short walk to your tent.

There's free parking at the venue, with signs on the lane. Blue badge parking and a drop-off point are right by the garden.

Fancy a drink? You're welcome to leave your car overnight and collect it on Sunday morning.

Taxis

Plan your way home

We're about 30 minutes from the city centre, so please pre-book your taxi home and share with friends where you can.

If you'd rather not travel at all, you're welcome to camp in the field.

Staying over

Somewhere to sleep

Travelling a long way, or just don't fancy the trip home? Here are some options.

Free

Camp in the field

You're welcome to pitch a tent in the field on Friday and Saturday night. It really is just a field: you can use the wedding toilets, but there's no water or showers, so bring what you need.

Let us know on your RSVP so we can plan.

Airbnb

Holiday lets nearby

There aren't many hotels close to the venue, so Airbnb is probably your best bet. Look around Dronfield, Holmesfield and Dore, and book early as June gets busy.

Hotel

Village Hotel Sheffield

If you'd rather a hotel, this is a good option in Sheffield. Remember to book a taxi there after the party.

Good to know

The little things

What to wear

Usual wedding attire. We'll be on the lawns all day, so flat shoes are your friend. It's June, so it should be warm, but bring a jacket for when the sun goes down.

Little ones

We love your little ones, but our day is adults only.

Food

Afternoon tea is vegetarian, with vegan options. Tell us about any allergies on your RSVP.

Confetti

The garden only allows biodegradable confetti or dried petals, so please leave the paper stuff at home.

Gifts

Having you there is the best present. We're lucky to have everything we need for our home, so if you'd like to give something, a contribution towards our honeymoon would mean the world.
